Specialties:
I work with adults navigating changing roles and life transitions, including aging, chronic conditions, and grief and loss. I have worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and burnout related to these progressions, especially those often finding themselves in caregiver roles or dysregulating relational patterns. I support my clients as they reorient themselves to shifting identities and realities by working with individuals to identify empowering patterns and practicing embodiment through new practices and skills.
Clinical Style & Theoretical Orientation:
I take a creative and active approach to therapy. Informed by narrative therapy, I work with my clients to understand their stories. This involves collaboration to locate needs, build a shared sense of patterns and goals, and experiment with new strategies while identifying innate wisdom and existing strengths and supports. Sometimes I introduce body-awareness and mindful strategies. Sometimes more tangible support is needed. I hold space in sessions for deep reflection and incorporate self-compassion, curiosity, and skills-based approaches. I use an anti-oppressive, intersectional, culturally humble, and systemic approach.
Lived Identity:
Personal Interests: I enjoy running, reading, and spending time with friends and family over good food.
