Natallia Khalpukova, Fordham University

Natallia grew up in Belarus and considers both Europe and the US her home, but feels a special connection to New York. Natallia received a B.A. with a major in German and Spanish, and a minor in Psychology, as well as a Master’s degree in Language Education from Rutgers University. Discovering her love for psychotherapy, she then went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Fordham University.

Natallia has worked with purpose-driven adults navigating various challenges related to work-life balance, self-esteem, physical and emotional stress, family dynamics, intimate relationships, identity shifts, history of trauma, and spirituality. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults, as well as clients with multicultural backgrounds. Natallia enjoys supporting her clients in navigating challenging life experiences and discovering fulfillment in the areas of career, relationships, family, and personal development.

Natallia views one’s decision to commit to a therapeutic journey as a beautiful and essential step toward self-understanding, healing, and empowerment. She draws from various modalities, inviting a holistic understanding of an individual honoring one’s unique perspective and experience. Her work embraces authenticity, inclusivity, mindfulness, unconditional positive regard, mind-body connection, exploration of the unconscious mind, and awareness of one’s thinking patterns, values, emotions, and behaviors. Natallia meets each client where they are and supports them in the growth process within a collaborative relationship based on safety, trust, and compassion.

Natallia believes in the power of a holistic approach to healing and wellness. She is a certified Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master, and Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Hypnosis, and MER® (Mental Emotional Release), and is currently completing training as an Integrative NLP Coach and an Integrative Trauma Coach with a focus on somatic practices. Natallia incorporates elements of these modalities into her work with clients who are seeking different approaches in addition to traditional talk therapy.

Natallia is fluent in Russian and Spanish, and loves developing and applying her language skills. She enjoys incorporating mindfulness and movement into her daily life: meditation, journaling, Buddhist philosophy, dance, weightlifting, and yoga are all a part of her self-care routine. She is passionate about travel, leading a healthy lifestyle, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She is a lifelong learner and loves reading non-fiction or listening to audiobooks and podcasts during her commute.

Natallia loves New York City for its vibrant culture and a wide range of opportunities to connect with people from all walks of life. She often attends art exhibits and concerts, and explores new coffee shops.
