Specialties

I work with adults who have experienced trauma, especially those who have lived through gender-based violence. I understand how trauma can quietly shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world.

I also work with clients who struggle with generalized anxiety. This can look like constant worrying and feeling overwhelmed by everyday situations—whether it’s work, school, or relationships. I understand how exhausting and isolating it can feel when anxiety touches so many parts of daily life. I help clients better understand their anxiety and develop new ways to respond to it, so it doesn’t have to take up so much space in their lives.

Clinical Style & Theoretical Orientation

Healing happens within a supportive and trusting relationship, and that’s the foundation I build with clients. My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, while also drawing from other approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, to meet each client’s unique needs. I provide trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive care.

This means I recognize how past painful experiences may affect clients, and I’ll work with you in a way that feels safe and respectful. I also help clients explore how their life experiences—like trauma—and the larger systems they’re part of, such as family, culture, and society, may be shaping their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and current concerns. I help clients identify and build on their natural strengths and resilience. By gaining insight and reconnecting with inner resources, clients can begin to let go of what’s no longer serving them and move toward a life that feels more aligned with their values and goals.
