Whether working with individuals or couples, Tia tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs, creating a supportive environment for healing and growth.

Tia is a trauma-informed therapist who integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to foster positive change. She often uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe negative thought patterns, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote emotional regulation and mindfulness. Motivational Interviewing (MI) is another cornerstone of her practice, helping clients increase her readiness for change and take active steps toward her goals.

In addition to these techniques, Tia incorporates Person-Centered Therapy, which emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and the importance of a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. This approach allows clients to feel fully heard and supported in their journey of self-discovery and healing. For clients interested in exploring the underlying roots of her challenges, Tia draws on Psychodynamic Therapy, helping individuals gain insight into unconscious patterns that influence her behavior and relationships.

At the heart of Tia’s practice is a deep belief in the power of human connection and the importance of meeting clients where they are. She understands that the therapeutic process is both collaborative and individualized, and she is committed to empowering clients to take control of her lives, make informed decisions, and cultivate resilience. By offering a blend of practical coping strategies while navigating through challenges.
