Specialties:

Many of my clients are first-generation, BIPOC, or navigating layered cultural and family expectations. I support adults who appear to be managing well externally, but internally feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for change. They are often the “strong one,” the fixer, or the go-to person for others, while privately struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship stress, boundary-setting, or identity transitions. I specialize in supporting clients processing intergenerational trauma, navigating life transitions, healing relational wounds, and building self-confidence and autonomy.

Clinical Style & Theoretical Orientation:

My practice is grounded in creating a culturally responsive, nonjudgmental, and emotionally safe space where clients can explore their experiences openly and at their own pace. My clinical approach blends structured tools with emotional reflection. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, grounded, and human.

Therapy with me is a space to slow down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. We’ll explore how your inner world—your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences—shows up in your daily life and relationships. Together, we’ll unpack old stories you may have learned about yourself, keep what feels true, and gently shift what no longer fits. I’ll support you in understanding your patterns with compassion rather than criticism, so you can feel more connected to yourself and more empowered in how you move forward.

I value storytelling, authenticity, and genuine connection. Sessions with me are conversational yet intentional. I offer warmth, directness, and compassion while helping clients develop insight and practical skills for lasting change.

Lived Identity:

  • Bilingual, first-generation Latina therapist
  • Personal understanding of navigating intergenerational expectations and identity development
  • Extroverted and connection-oriented, with a strong belief in community and belonging

Personal Interests:

Outside of the therapy room, I love traveling, trying new foods, dancing, thriller movies, and anything involving sports, especially basketball. I’m big on connection and community, and I believe joy and movement are powerful parts of healing too.
