Specialties

I specialize in working with people who are exploring questions around their cultural identity and finding self-acceptance. My clients are often from immigrant or culturally shaped backgrounds, who may feel uncertain or stigmatized about seeking therapy. Many of my clients feel caught between their own hopes for the future and the expectations of their family or culture. They may struggle to find a sense of belonging within their community. I support clients as they work through complex family dynamics, friendships, and intimate relationships.

Clinical Style & Theoretical Orientation

I take a curious and collaborative approach, meeting clients where they are in their journey. I take a mindful approach to help clients be more present with their thoughts and emotions. I encourage my clients to slow down and look at how their life experiences have shaped the way they see themselves and relate to others. I incorporate skill-building techniques so clients can better manage stress, improve communication, and balance emotions.

I aim to help my clients find motivation to make the changes they want to see in their life. In this process, clients often find clarity and strengthen their sense of self. Through our work, they begin to feel more grounded and empowered in who they are. This helps them gain confidence in their own path.
