Specialties
I work with individuals who have experienced events that have shaken their sense of safety, identity, or connection to themselves and others. I specialize in supporting clients navigating the aftermath of relational, sexual, migration, and complex trauma. Whether these experiences happened recently or years ago, trauma can leave you feeling uncertain, disconnected, stuck in survival mode, or questioning who you are and how to move forward. I accompany clients toward post-traumatic growth by honoring the ways they have adapted to survive and supporting them in reconnecting with the steady, wise, and resilient parts of themselves that may have been overshadowed by trauma.
Clinical Style & Theoretical Orientation
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I draw primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS), viewing our protective responses not as flaws to eliminate but as parts of ourselves that developed for important reasons. I strive to create a space that is warm and reflective, where clients feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences at their own pace. I believe growth often requires both support and challenge, and I gently encourage clients to examine familiar patterns, deepen self-understanding, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. While the work we do together is meaningful and often difficult, I also value moments of humor and lightness when they arise naturally in the therapeutic process.
