Specialties:

I specialize in working with high-achieving and high-performing individuals who have achieved external success but are navigating stress, burnout, transitions, questions of fulfillment, or the pressure to continually perform.

For clients who feel stuck or want to make meaningful changes, I support the development of healthier habits, increased motivation, goal setting, and accountability. Rather than focusing solely on what needs to change, I help clients better understand what may be getting in the way, recognize their existing strengths, and identify realistic steps toward the life and well-being they want to create.

Regardless of whether my client is navigating change, identity, strained interpersonal relationships, workplace conflict, racial trauma, anxiety, a mood disorder, or adjustment-related concerns, my approach remains the same: focused on healing, building resilience, and strengthening overall well-being.

I recognize that wellness and well-being do not exist separately from a person’s culture, identity, community, or beliefs. I create space for clients exploring questions of purpose, meaning, fulfillment, and personal growth, particularly as they try to understand what they want the next chapter of their lives to look like. For clients who desire it, I also welcome the integration of faith, spirituality, and spiritual wellness into the therapeutic process.

Clinical Style & Theoretical Orientation:

A diagnosis is only one part of a person’s story, and I support clients as they move toward greater stability, connection, independence, and quality of life. I’m a career changer with a background in preventive care, health promotion, and healthcare administration, where I focused on creating pathways to holistic health and wellness. Now in direct practice, I draw on that foundation (including principles of process improvement, change management, and interpersonal effectiveness) to foster a therapeutic environment that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, and person-centered.

I believe healing begins with compassion and unfolds through discovery. My approach is collaborative, trauma-sensitive, recovery-oriented, and inclusive. I believe clients should feel empowered, informed, and meaningfully engaged in their care. From the beginning, I want clients to understand that they are part of the treatment team. Treatment is not happening to them; it is happening with them.

The modalities and methods I draw from include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and interventions grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) principles. I also use a solution-oriented approach rooted in action, acceptance, and reflection, alongside strengths-based practices incorporating positive psychology and motivational interviewing to support clients through different phases of healing and transformational change.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a collaborative space where clients can develop insight, recognize their strengths, make meaningful decisions, and take an active role in their healing, recovery, and overall well-being.
