Specialties:

I specialize in working with young adults with ADHD and executive functioning challenges who struggle to keep all the different pieces of their lives together. Many of my clients are capable, creative, and have meaningful goals for themselves, but find it difficult to get started, stay organized, follow through, manage competing priorities, or create routines that actually work for them. School, work, relationships, family expectations, and everyday responsibilities can start to feel like too many moving pieces at once.

Executive functioning challenges can affect much more than organization. Struggling to get started, follow through, or keep up with responsibilities can lead to anxiety, shame, frustration, self-doubt, and feeling stuck. My work focuses on that space between knowing what you want to do and being able to make it happen, helping you understand the patterns behind these struggles and find more sustainable ways to navigate your life.

I also have extensive experience working with substance use and recovery. I understand recovery as an individual process and am familiar with traditional 12-step programs as well as harm reduction, mindfulness-based, and Recovery Dharma approaches. This background allows recovery to be integrated into our work when it is an important part of your life without assuming there is one pathway that works for everyone.

Clinical Style & Theoretical Orientation:

My approach is active, collaborative, practical, and conversational. I work particularly well with clients who want to better understand themselves while also making meaningful changes in their everyday lives. With ADHD and executive functioning challenges, we look beyond simply becoming “more organized” to understand patterns of overwhelm, avoidance, perfectionism, motivation, emotional regulation, and self-esteem that may be keeping you stuck.

My approach is neurodiversity-affirming and integrative, drawing from psychodynamic and relational therapy, cognitive-behavioral approaches, expressive arts therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based work. Rather than expecting you to function like someone else, our work focuses on understanding how your mind works, recognizing patterns that may no longer serve you, and finding more sustainable ways to navigate your life.

My goal is for you to leave therapy with a stronger understanding of yourself and greater confidence in how you approach the challenges in your life.
