Patricia Valencia, LMHC

Patricia is a born and raised New Yorker with over a decade of experience in non-profit leadership, program development, and clinical services. Most recently, she developed and led several Assertive Community Treatment teams, providing clinical services to adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. She received her masters in mental health counseling from Long Island University. Patricia has participated in various trainings and workshops in relationship counseling, Brief Strategic Therapy, Personality and Character Disorders, cognitive rehabilitation, and serious and persistent mental illness.

Patricia is dedicated to improving the quality of the US mental health system, participates annually in the Queens-Long Island NAMI walk. In her spare time, you can find Patricia reading lots of fiction, in addition to furthering her knowledge of mental health. She enjoys playing party games (trivia, Taboo, Apples to Apples) brunching with friends, and is a lover of all things Star Wars.
